Lim Yo-Hwan, SlayerS_BoxeR, The Terran Emperor

Lim Yo-Hwan also known with his StarCraft alias as “SlayerS_BoxeR” earned world renown as he developed unique strategies and gameplay for StarCraft's Terran race during the early stages of StarCraft. Deemed as a defensive race for a game that needed great offense to win, Lim Yo-Hwan's strategies and effective use of the Terran race to garner astonishing victories earned him the title “Terran Emperor”.

Lim Yo-Hwan currently holds the record for most televised StarCraft games with 500 broadcasts wins. He currently has championship records in numerous leagues such as Ongamenet Starleague, World Cyber Games, KT-KTF Premiere league and KPGA MBC. In 2004, he was named as ESReality's greatest gamer of all time and in 2006, MTV included Lim Yo-Hwan in the list of “Top 10 Most Influential Gamers of All Time”. He is also the current holder of the record of longest time ranked as number 1 in KeSPA, reigning supreme for 17 straight months and has annual earnings over US$300,000 and multiple endorsements.

“I am happy to finally represent Razer in the gaming community. StarCraft 2 is tough, it already hosts a lot of competitive players from Korea and Europe. I've been using Razer products since to hone my StarCraft Gaming. It will be difficult, but with Razer, never impossible.” says Lim Yo-Hwan

Lim Yo-Hwan announced only recently that he has moved to StarCraft 2. Amidst the excitement of the gaming community and his fan base over a million gamers, many are anxiously waiting for his next move with his newly formed team 'SlayerS'.

“We at Razer believe in the might of the Terran Emperor,” says Min-Liang Tan, CEO of Razer, “We also believe that our line of StarCraft 2 gaming peripherals could provide valuable assistance to Lim Yo-Hwan. Our Razer Marauder Gaming Keyboard and Razer Spectre Gaming Mouse will provide Lim Yo-Hwan with the comfort and precision he needs as well as maximizing his average APM.”

“We are among his fans and as such, we look forward to his continued success in South Korea’s progaming eSports scene.” Min-Liang added. Apart from the partnership with Boxer, Razer plans to invest US$5 million into South Korea’s eSports scene over 3 years, through player and tournament sponsorships, and other such initiatives.
