WIRED’s Inside Look at Designing the 17-inch Razer Blade

In a former life, Razer was a humble peripherals company known for making keyboards and mouses for gamers' twitchy hands. But then, in 2011, the company shocked everyone by revealing a sleek gaming laptop; the Razer Blade, a thin slice of matte-black aluminum, crammed full of game-ready guts and topped with a sharp 17-inch screen.

If other gaming laptops were B-52s, this was a stealth bomber.
